Imagine sitting down at your desk first thing in the morning and at your fingertips is all the current data related to quality and delivery that your global suppliers have identified since you left the office yesterday.
Intercim's answer
Through a supplier portal, Intercim software provides immediate notification of supplier product or other anomalies that could affect your production. If a supplier anywhere in the world has an interruption in its facility, the anomaly type, severity, corrective action and all other data is sent to you via the Pertinence Suite. Now you can make immediate decisions to avoid production disruptions in your operation.
Your Situation
Experimental parts In the midst of normal production or new program development, an experimental part is built in parallel with standard production components. Because it is yet uncertified as flight worthy, special care is needed to prevent it from being inadvertently or permanently installed. This part must be tracked across the supply chain: in production and in test, to assure it is not left in a production aircraft.
Using Emergent Process Management, you can control the lifecycle of the part: from design and configuration through production, test and certification (or destruction). Most importantly, EPM restricts shipping experimental parts as finished goods.
Intercim's answer
Today's shop floor must meet the demands of the global economy. As a result, silos between internal departments are being torn down. The walls between operations on different continents are crumbling. And managing suppliers, wherever they are, has never been more important.
Advancements in web technology and our own innovations in mission-critical manufacturing are creating for our customers the most collaborative manufacturing environments possible. Service Oriented Architecture allows seamless data sharing between a design engineer and the operations manager in the same facility…or keeps the quality director abreast of supplier issues in Asia or Europe.
The pressure of worldwide competition is transforming mission critical manufacturing. Intercim helps convert those pressures into profit.
