President and Chief Executive Officer
President and CEO, John Todd has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing software industry for aerospace customers. Prior to joining Intercim in 1998, John was Vice President, North America for Control Data Systems where he managed operations and business development from the corporate headquarters in Minneapolis.
John’s previous experiences include progressive executive positions in technical consulting, sales and operations with Control Data and Structural Dynamics Research. At Structural Dynamics, John concentrated on PLM solutions for the Aerospace market based in Los Angeles.
Amelie Faure
Chief Executive Officer, Europe
Amélie brings more than 20 years experience in technology, sales, marketing and management to her position as CEO of Intercim Europe. Based in Paris, she is responsible for European operations as well as Intercim’s worldwide marketing, partner relations and strategic efforts.
Previous to joining Intercim, Amélie served as CEO of Pertinence, S.A., based in Paris, France. Under her direction, the company grew to become a global market leader in Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence software. Her earlier experience includes co-founding and leading European development of GénériX, a provider of enterprise software for sales management, logistics and finance. In 1999, Amélie served as vice president, Southern Europe at Augeo Software, a professional services automation software.
Amélie Faure holds an Engineering degree from the Institut National Agronomique of Paris-Grignon.
Steve Flohr
Vice President Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Steve oversees Intercim’s Professional Services, Corporate Quality, Corporate IT and Technical Support departments as well as the company’s offshore delivery team. In addition, Steve is also the executive liaison to Boeing 787 relating to the Dreamliner implementation efforts. Prior to joining Intercim, Steve spent more than 25 years working in software systems and technology. His background includes six years as general manager of US Operations for Control Data Systems and four years as General Manager of Marketing at Control Data Corporation. Steve also worked abroad serving as CEO of ICEM Systems GmbH, a Control Data – Volkswagen joint venture that developed CAD-CAM 3D modeling software.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree in Structural Engineering from Purdue University.
Brian Hinchley
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Brian Hinchley is responsible for financial statements, forecasting and initiation of contracts. Brian also oversees Human Resources and Administration activities for Intercim worldwide. He has led the implementation of an ERP software program at Intercim and also manages
information processes.
Prior to joining Intercim in 1998, Brian was employed by Griffin Companies as Assistant Controller. At Griffin, Brian was responsible for financial statements, forecasting and asset management of several real estate portfolios throughout the United States.
Romain LaVault
Vice President Sales and Business Development
In his role as VP of Sales and Business Development, Romain leads business process consulting, pre-sales and sales activities worldwide. As the former chief operating officer for Pertinence, Romain successfully developed the Aerospace & Defense market in Europe and was repeating that achievement in the US at the time of the Intercim-Pertinence merger. Romain began his career as an aerodynamics engineer at EADS Space Transportation then moved to Starsem, a Euro-Russian subsidiary of Arianespace, where he held positions in project and sales management.
Romain holds an MS in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France), an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Supaero (Toulouse, France) and a Master in Management degree from Ecole Supérieure Commerce de Toulouse (Toulouse, France).
Judson Plapp
Vice President Marketing and Corporate Strategy
Jud Plapp is responsible for leading corporate strategy development and execution, providing support to business development and sales activities, communications and media relations. As Intercim’s former VP of Operations, Jud’s expertise covers pre-sales consulting, business process, product functionality and integration. Prior to joining Intercim, Jud was employed by Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he managed enterprise application development and integration, including supply chain integration on both a local and global scale.
Jud holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota and is a member of MENSA International where he was recognized by International Who's Who of Professionals for 2002.
Peter Young
Vice President Research and Development
As Vice President of Development for Intercim, Pete is responsible for the company’s product development efforts including developing, releasing and maintaining software applications and documentation. Pete has contributed to Intercim’s new product development success for nearly a decade, holding positions as software engineer, architect, development manager and director of development. Prior to joining Intercim, Pete was an engineer with Stratasys, Inc, a manufacturer of FDM Rapid Prototype Machines, where he supervised the development of the control system and distributed control network. At Pilkington/L.O.F., Pete helped develop a rain-sensing automated wiper control system, now standard equipment on many high-end automobiles. His earlier experience includes work as an electronics technician in both R&D and in a field-service.
