Early 2009, Intercim and Dassault Systèmes (DS) a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and long time partner of the company strengthen their strategic alliance: Dassault Systèmes (DS) takes a minority position in Intercim LLC.

Because of the current trends in the industry both companies consider critical that information exchange and collaboration between engineering, manufacturing and the supply network be handled in real-time. For the first time, the combination of Intercim’s execution and manufacturing intelligence capabilities with the virtual experience provided by Dassault Systèmes’ solutions allows this type of mission-critical collaboration and knowledge sharing.

By combining their solutions they:
